Research data management and electronic lab notebook: Hands-on Workshop in Hanover

Are you interested in sustainably securing your research data? You’re in the right place!
In our new workshop, we introduce, after an overview of the topic research data management and guidance on the usage of research data repositories, the electronic laboratory notebook (ELN) Chemotion and its features for beginners following a “learning by doing”-concept. Members of our Chemotion team will explain the various features of the ELN in a demo. The demo is followed by specific exercises in which you will create and edit ELN entries interactively. During the exercises, questions and arising problems can be discussed with the Chemotion trainers directly. You do not need to have Chemotion installed as we will provide access to a training instance. Please bring your laptop. The workshop will take place during the local NFDI@LUH event in Hanover in the TIB lecture room (Welfengarten 1B) on 08.11.2023 from 11 am to 2 pm. Catering will be provided. Join afterward in the LUH Lichthof to learn about additional features and tools that’ll support you in creating FAIR research data.
Language: The workshop can be held in German or English. A link regarding language preferences will be sent to you shortly before the event.
