NFDI4Chem combines conversion with validation to improve data quality of converted analytical data
The NFDI4Chem Converter Service is supposed to help researchers to convert their proprietary analytical data into standardised open formats and therefore simplifying the implementation of the FAIR data principles (findable, accessible, interoperable and reusable).
While converters to open standard formats are available for some types of chemistry data, an essential aspect of quality is the availability of software to validate the adherence to these standards. The NFDI4Chem Converter Service, currently under development within NFDI4Chem, will combine conversion and validation.
We initially started with MS data and plan to proceed with NMR data to then continue with other types of chemistry data.
In order to test and improve the NFDI4Chem Converter Service, we need a test set of chemistry data files from various methods and instruments.
Do you want to contribute analytical data files to ease the development of our service and also ensure that your chemistry data can be converted to open formats in a valid way?
Thanks in advance!
