On 25th and 26th March, international stakeholders in the field of digital standards in chemistry assembled at the CCDC headquarter in Cambridge. This workshop was organised by the IUPAC, the WorldFAIR project and the InChI. NFDI4Chem, PSDI as well as members of CODATA and publishers and many more also partipated to this exciting workshop in order to develop and discuss sustainable business models for digital chemical standards development.
The chemical community needs digital standards for the exchange of data and also the connection of knowledge. All stakeholders accorded that a joint effort is required to advance this field and secure the process. A white paper will be written soon.
