Open Access publishing in chemistry – Webinar

The workshop is organised by FID Chemie in collaboration with the open-access.network and is delivered in English; it provides an overview of open-access publishing within the existing publishing system in the field of chemistry. 

The session will cover the various publication models: immediate open access in relevant journals (often subject to the payment of publication fees), the republication of previously published articles, and Diamond Open Access, whereby publications appear without any fees for authors. The funding and support options available for these models, and how FID Chemie and open-access.network support researchers in this regard, will also be presented. 

Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to discuss your own questions relating to day-to-day publishing and to apply what you have learnt using specific examples.
