We are excited to announce the new RDM Checklists for Chemistry. No matter what stage of your research you are at: Perhaps you have just started your PhD, are about to publish an article, or have reached the end of a project. These checklists will help you ensure that the most important aspects of data handling are covered.
Which checklists are there?
In total, we provide eight checklists. The first six help you through the various stages of your research, from planning a new project and storing and describing data to archiving, publishing and reusing it. No matter where you are in the process, we’ve got you covered. In addition to the checklist entries, we ask key questions and provide tool tips to help you improve your data handling skills.
The last two checklists are slightly different. One helps you to find the right research data management tools for the job. Whether you want to publish data in a repository, collaborate with colleagues, or document your experiments, the tool checklist will guide you. The other is specifically targeted at group leaders and principal investigators (PIs) to guide them through the most important aspects of data handling in their research group.
