Level up your next data publication with our freshly published README template for data publications. Get the most out of your data!
Why use a README file?

Providing a README file with additional information about the data publication adds important context to the data. In many repositories, you can provide general metadata such as author information or publication date, but more chemistry-specific information might be missing. By using a README file, you can ensure that all the information needed to reuse the data is available.
You might be wondering what kind of information should be provided in such a README file. This is where our new template comes in. It provides you with a structured schema that you simply need to fill in. And if you feel that something is missing? No problem! Just add the information and help to develop the template.
