First RADAR4Chem dataset published using NFDI4Chem Terminologies

In their publication “Bridging Stability and Reactivity: Novel Dinucleating Ligand With Rigid Backbone Stabilizes a Cu2O2 Side-On Peroxido Structure” (https://chemistry-europe.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/ejic.70231), Dalhoff et al. report on an exceptionally stable side-on peroxide dicopper complex as tyrosinase model. This complex is stabilized by a tailored dinucleating tridentate bis(pyrazolyl)methane ligand with an aromatic group as the bridging unit.

The authors deposited their simulation data on the peroxide complex at RADAR4Chem using standardized keywords from the NFDI4Chem Terminology Collection. Curated by NFDI4Chem, this collection already comprises more than 50 chemistry-specific terminologies and is available directly within RADAR4Chem through the integration of TS4NFDI (Terminology Services 4 NFDI), an NFDI Basic Service. During metadata annotation, data providers can select quality-assured and well-established chemistry-specific terms directly from this terminology collection. The use of standardized terms improves the consistency and quality of metadata, enhances the findability, interoperability, and reusability of research data, and thereby contributes significantly to their FAIRness.
